Hello, my name is Caela and I am so excited that you’ll be joining me on this blogging journey!

This blog was inspired by the incredible 6 years I spent “on the road” as the North American Officer and US Representative for Study Abroad and Postgraduate Programs at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland. In many ways, it exists so that I might pay homage to the wonderful people and places I encountered on my solo treks across the US and Canada: people who, and places which, helped me to become the professional, international educator, writer, and person I am today. Through my words, stories, and experiences, I hope to inspire you to look for, find, and celebrate the various “homes” in your life (especially those found in unexpected places!).
